About STEP
The Success Through Empowered Partnerships (STEP) Mentorship Program is a leadership initiative by the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) designed to strengthen mentorship connections within the professional community.
Emerging professionals often struggle to find trusted guidance, while experienced leaders want meaningful opportunities to give back. STEP bridges that gap through structured mentorship and intentional relationship building.
The program pairs mentors and mentees in thoughtful partnerships designed to support professional development, leadership growth, and community connection.

How STEP Works:

Submit an application as a mentor, mentee, or both. Your application includes information about your goals, experience, and professional interests.
2. Intentional Matching
Participants are thoughtfully matched by the STEP program team based on their background, goals, and industry experience.
This intentional matching helps strengthen trust and create meaningful mentorship relationships.
3. Connect and Grow
Mentors and mentees meet regularly throughout the program to share experiences, exchange insights, and build professional relationships.
STEP Success Labs provide structured conversations, reflection opportunities, and mentorship resources to support each partnership.
