What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy originated in the field of psychotherapy as a form of expressive therapy using the creative process of art to improve an individual’s physical, mental and emotional well-being. The process of art creation allows an individual to communicate and express themselves when words do not suffice or cannot be verbalized.
